What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Mr. Teker was a dedicated and devoted resident of this community. Being memorialized at the gateway to Lawrence Park and to the entire Seaway Trail is a a perfect fitting for this man.
Read more about Teker ParkReally super cool place to visit. The parking is free visiting inside the center is free. There’s a little play area for the kids to explore in the back of the building. I love how the trails have wooden walkways. You could even take your baby here in a stroller.. there’s also dirt trails as well you can venture farther off into, The trails are marked very well, and they each have their own little name recommend to anyone.
Read more about Asbury WoodsAbsolutely beautiful park and arboretum. So many beautiful trees and nature trails. We have drove by this place a million times and I’m sad we never stopped before. Definitely a favorite stop in Erie now. Awesome place to take the dog for a walk and get some steps in!
Read more about Frontier ParkFor Erie, this is probably a 5 star, but I have been to other dog parks in other states that have been way better. Pros - Park entrance is beautiful eith playground and restrooms. At the dog park, there are nice Pavillions with benches to sit. Dog park separated for both big (over 35 lbs.) and small (under 35 lbs.). Cons - No plumbing for water, but I believe the park supplies gallon jugs of water. Only one trash receptacle and just one set of rake/shovel. Entrances are not wheelchair accessible.
