Hartwood Acres Park

Hartwood Acres is a nice park with both paved and unpaved trails to explore. The forested areas have plenty of wildlife, including frogs and deer. It was a peaceful escape from the city during my evening visit. If you want an easy, relaxing walk in the area, this park is a good choice.

I’m a bridal hairstylist & this is an absolutely beautiful venue! However there seemed to be miscommunication between the venue and the coordinators & the poor bridal party had to keep moving things around the mansions getting ready area because they scheduled a tour during that time.

Hartwood Acres is truly one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding locations in Pittsburgh. The grounds speak for themselves with stunning scenery and beautiful architecture.

I really like Harwood acres, but the grounds are getting rundown. There’s weed and grass growing up through the cobblestone, and the flowerbeds are really in distress and look terrible. I’m not a fan of how they restricted access to the mansion by rearranging the parking lot. If you’re in the area and you remember how hardwood acres looked years ago, stop by and take a look, and let me know if you agree that it’s getting rundown and also if you enjoy the new revamped, cut-back parking lot.
