South Park Dog Park

Not a bad dog park. There is a decent amount of room for the dog to run. Of course you never know with whom your sharing the park. Most of the dog owners are very good as in anything else it only takes that one bad owner to spoil the trip. ie letting his or her dog become overly aggressive I'll say.

Nice big area for off leash dogs.It could use a little grounds tending. We're were visiting the area and I stopped by to kill some time with the boys while the girls were shopping. It was right after it rained and the few bare spots were easy clean walking in my new shoes. Nice new shelter and picnic tables.

We love taking our dog here on nice days. There is so much space to run. And there are usually other dogs there, which our dog loves. They have an area for water and a shaded pavilion with picnic tables. Parking is close by. There is also a separate area for small dogs if you choose.. just keep in mind it is a park and it does get muddy. But always a fun time?

Would be cool if there were solar lights at night in fall/winter months

This place is finally finished. They updated it and it’s really nice. This dog park is a place I have gone to for many years. I will keep coming back as long as I have my doggy. It’s huge and they have fresh water fountains for the pups. Highly recommend but please do not take your intact male (or female)dogs for that matter in there. Its always trouble!
