Point State Park has always been one of my favorite spots in the city, and for good reason. Whether I’m rolling in on my bike for a weekend ride or just meeting up with friends to unwind, it never disappoints. The park feels like a peaceful escape tucked right into the heart of the city, with wide-open green spaces, rivers converging around you, and the skyline rising in the distance. There’s something about watching the iconic fountain spray up into the air with the sound of the rivers flowing that makes the whole experience special. If you’re into city views, casual strolls, or just soaking up the energy of downtown without the noise, Point State Park is a must. Every visit feels a little different, and that’s what keeps me coming back.

I visited Point State Park in Pittsburgh and really enjoyed the experience. The park sits right at the meeting point of the rivers, which makes for some nice, calming views. Walking along the paths was easy and relaxing, and there were plenty of spots to sit and take in the scenery. Even though it’s downtown, it felt peaceful and open. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy some fresh air, take a walk, or just relax by the water. I’d definitely visit again.

Point State Park is a beautiful urban oasis in Pittsburgh, offering breathtaking views of the rivers and the city skyline. The park’s well maintained grounds, iconic fountain, and historical monuments make it a perfect spot for both relaxation and exploration. Whether you're walking, jogging, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, this park is a true highlight of Pittsburgh. A wonderful place to connect with nature while learning about the city’s rich history.

It’s beautiful, I really like the botanical garden and the area next to the university. The park feels very relaxing. But right now there’s a lot of road construction, so GPS doesn’t really help. For tourists like us, it’s not very friendly—we’re just wandering around trying to find our way.

Great walk to this park. Pretty amazing views and while going there you can go through the market or do the river walk. Both are amazing. Must do if you are in Pittsburgh.
