Beautiful beautiful beautiful!! Had to give 3 stars not even 2 minutes in dog park with my little puppy. She was mauled to the fence by some mean big white dog. I was in fear for her life. And lady walks over laughing saying "she thought she was a squirrel!!" I replied "LOOK LADY ITS A DOG PARK NOT A SQUIRREL PARK!!" and left. I'm sure I'll never return.

I was fairly nervous at first since I've never been to a dog park and, as a first time dog owner, the experience can be daunting. However, the dog owners are incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming! The dogs at the park have a wonderful attitude too. The park itself is fairly large with lots of room to run and play. There's a little space for humans with a roof and picnic tables and several benches scattered around. There's a water fountain and bowls for the dogs. There's also a restroom (outhouse) right outside the park entrance. I haven't had a bad experience yet! The park is well maintained and all the owners are good at keeping tabs on their dogs. The only thing I'd suggest is getting the park some lights especially once we head into daylight savings time (autumn/winter). There's also plenty of trails outside of the dog park and the scenery is beautiful!

This is the largest dog park, located along the Mississippi River. The owners had plenty of seating and the 10 to 15 dogs behaved nicely. Garbage was in a wooden box positioned well nearby. I'd love to go again soon with my pooch.

Whitney dog park is well kept up and the people are always friendly! ... Also another great bonus for dog walking is the miles of Whitney walk trails that seem endless as the trails connect to many different peaceful neighborhoods, scenic areas and last but not least the trails merge right into many different parks...Like
