Great place! My little dogs loved it. The internal gate doesnt stay shut though, so I didnt like having to worry about someone else bringing a dog in and them getting out through the outside gate.

Beautiful place to visit by the river. Has nice shaded space. Play ground has full sun. Veteran memorial, Pavillion rental awesome size holds 200 people. Bathrooms with running water. Lots of parking space and has a boat landing to the river. Picnic table in shade areas. I think there are some grills too.

This park is gorgeous, but more run down than most of the parks in the area. There simply doesn't seem to be the same level of care. It's still well worth visiting, it's a gem right in the middle of everything, and many people don't even realize it exists, so it's usually quiet. I highly recommend it, I just hope the city takes some time to get it in proper shape.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful!! Had to give 3 stars not even 2 minutes in dog park with my little puppy. She was mauled to the fence by some mean big white dog. I was in fear for her life. And lady walks over laughing saying "she thought she was a squirrel!!" I replied "LOOK LADY ITS A DOG PARK NOT A SQUIRREL PARK!!" and left. I'm sure I'll never return.
