This park is gorgeous, but more run down than most of the parks in the area. There simply doesn't seem to be the same level of care. It's still well worth visiting, it's a gem right in the middle of everything, and many people don't even realize it exists, so it's usually quiet. I highly recommend it, I just hope the city takes some time to get it in proper shape.

The more I passed through Minnesota the more I loved it. I can’t believe I found Heritage park. Aside from what the nature photos show this park also has a skate park and museum. The girls and I really enjoyed our time at Heritage Park.

Good when you need a place to walk and chat with someone. Nice circular trails that loop back to one another. Plenty of parking. Nice water feature and bridge. Can get muddy.

This is actually a beautiful park with great walking trails. I took my dog for a nice walk there today. Besides walking trails, there is a skate park, museum, and restrooms. I would have given 5 stars, except there was a dog off leash, and I almost walked into a homeless camp. It was a little unnerving since it was just me and my dog and no one else out on the trails.
