It really is a great sprawling dog park with rolling Hills, dirt trails and trees to run around. There's lots of room for that running. Unfortunately it's a ghost town every time I come.

This park is really great at certain times of the year. In the early spring and winter, it is far too muddy. Mornings in the summer are awesome. It feels like an easy mountain trail walk with your dog. I have included pics of this kind of experience at this park. I really love that kind of thing and am grateful it's offered in the community. Other reviewers have mentioned things like lack of grass, thorny weeds, and "nothing down below." The park is clearly under-maintained. It does appear as if its vision was never realized because money was "needed" elsewhere. And that's really sad, I think it could be amazing if its vision were realized. As far as the multiple complaints of lack of grass, I don't understand this one. As dog owners who take their dogs to dog parks, we should not expect nice fields of well-kept lawns to be there. Period. Please don't expect cities to pay for sod to grass up these parks. That would be a gigantic waste of money. In fact, I have been to quite a few dog parks in the valley, and this dog park has the nicest grass in their grass area. Ha ha. As for "down below," there is one table with a covering and probably 3 garbage cans and two poo bag stations. It's sufficient to me. It does drag sometimes that the water for drinking is so far from this area, but it's not a bad walk up to the top at all. This part of the park really should be left to the bigger dogs. The little ones could get really injured by the rocks, hills, and giant weeds and thorns.

I LOVE the size of this place, but the pokey plants are a huge no go. I'm genuinely trying to grasp what Draper city was thinking when making this place. It almost seems they ran out of funding half way through and called it good. We usually go to dayland dog park and it's hard to believe the same city manages these dog parks. The risk of hurt paws, the weird dirt mounds, and the lack of dog waste stations/garbage cans really lowers this places raring. 2 stars for the upper grass spot.

I had a wonderful time at this dog park! The separated grass section was perfect for my puppies to relax. The picnic tables, water station, poop stations, and dirt trail were all great additions. The cute agility course was a big hit with my dogs. Everyone we met, both people and dogs, were very friendly. Just be mindful of the spikey weeds. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable visit!

Large dog park with two picnic tables. Plenty of room for your dog to roam.
