Nice park..separate areas large/small animals.bring water/bowl .any and everyone should take note. at all dog parks there are irresponsible owners who have FAILED training there dogs. fact I would suggest, buying something as simple as a slim Jim or dog treats. This is great to train your own dog and any ""negotiations " with agressive dogs.. im sure many WILL say..""I would never"....put a small mace/pepper spray on your dogs leash/car leys ..a small amount of discomfort for the agressive dog and learning a lesson for both owner and animal is priceless..you will save Thousands on vet bills and actually have the ability to be prepared..I was forced to use mine during a large dog dispute, neither owners had any idea what to do,once dogs separate with the quick short spray.. both owners could not stop thanking me!! PLEASE..esp with all that IS unimaginable that's happened in that area/prov recently.be prepared...stay safe enjoy the space...

I was recently there (4/10/2023) with my 7 year old yellow lab. First 3 minutes of being there my dog was attacked by another dog. Owner immediately picked up her dog and left. $1,000 later and a million tears later she is finally get back to herself. Ended up with a tore ear that’s needed stitches and sutures. I understand that it is at your own risk but yikes that was horrible. My kids are forever traumatized. So if you know a woman that is tall, thin, and fair complexion with a black aggressive dog ( I think it was a mutt). Stay away. Also let her know it was totally irresponsible to flee the scene the way that she did.

Nice little park, usually pretty empty except in late afternoons. Not at its best in summer, as the lone shade tree attracts swarms of bugs.
