Absolutely beautiful, must see if you even moderately enjoy hiking. There are easy trails that are paved, very wide and easy to navigate. Great place to bring your dog for a hike. Well maintained, only saw of piece of trash the whole time.

Yesterday morning I encountered a woman whose dogs are untrained, are aggressive with other dogs, and she makes no effort to correct them. These dogs should not be off leash. When I asked her to handle her dogs, she responded with profanity and the one finger salute as shown in the picture. This is no way for anyone visiting this park to begin their morning. She should be investigated.

Just an amazing view. Wished I had brought my hiking shoes. Staff at the visitor's center were friendly and helpful. Lots of tours to choose from.

Plenty of parking and open space for dogs to roam around. While it's not as developed as Bear Creek dog park, I prefer GOG since other dog owners tend to be more responsible and their dogs are better trained/behaved. Which makes sense - your dog has to be well trained when there aren't any fences.

This is not a dog park. It’s a parking lot with a grassy area. It’s ok for wearing out your dog before an on-leash hike, but this isn’t a great spot.
