Georgia Avenue Park

I wouldn't call this a park. It's a playground with some benches and a few patchy areas of grass. There are signs posted saying "no dogs", but all day and night people bring their dogs to do their business on the grass. Groups of teenagers hang out at night and make a lot of noise, which is very annoying to anyone who has their windows open. It's better than nothing, but not by much.

I don't know what they did to the dirt around the playground. It was very dusty and powder-like today and dirt was flying everywhere. Maybe they are going to put some other material down to make it soft for the kids but I've never seen it this messy before.

I Lived in 1 Georgia Ave for 20 years n it was a Great place to Grow up 70 - 80's n is still Good Area to Live today!! Only Thing Bad is they Changed park for Older Seniors n young kids.. Great Memories playing Basketball, football n Stickball back in the 70's - 80's!! I Miss those Days!! E. Saur says what's Up to All Georgia Park Crew back in the Day..😀💪👊👍👍

It's a nice place to sit and bring the kids, but there is a sign that says NO DOGS ALLOWED and yet many bring their dogs and some are a noise nuisance!

Very nice park ,place for all ages ,swings ,slides ,basketball courts, tables to sit and benchs also.
