A great place to bring your dog, if you don't have other options and don't mind you or your pet interacting with potentially undisciplined dogs or owners, in the fenced in dog run. The trails can be nice, if you don't mind keeping your dog in a leash . Beginning at the dog park, the trail to the Grand River is scenic, including the regular appearance of 2 nesting bald eagles. It's about a 3.5 mile hike roundtrip from the dog park. Seasonal bathrooms nearby the dog park and down by the river are well maintained. The trails in winter can be challenging. Footwear offering plenty of traction is encouraged.

This dog park is an absolute DREAM for pups and their humans! Spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed, it’s easily one of the best dog parks we’ve ever visited. The size alone is incredible—plenty of room for dogs to run full speed, play freely, and truly enjoy being dogs. The open layout allows for safe, stress-free play, whether your dog loves to chase, wrestle, explore, or just soak up the sunshine. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the park clean, secure, and welcoming. There’s space for every personality—from energetic zoomers to laid-back loungers. It’s also a fantastic place to meet other dog lovers and build a sense of community. Friendly dogs, responsible owners, and an overall positive vibe make every visit a great experience. If you’re looking for a huge, top-tier dog park where your pup will leave happy, tired, and tail-wagging—this is THE place. Highly recommend! 🐶💯

One of the greatest dog parks of all, the no leash trails are the best. Bring a friend! Heck bring 2. your dogs will play and you will have fun watching them play.

AMAZING dog park!!! Areas for big and small dogs, and a giant fenced in off leash area. Beware of letting your dog go off trail and get into contact with the poison ivy- there are signs posted. This park is so beautifully cared for and the coolest park in the Grand Rapids area imo.

My dog and I had a great experience here. Made lots of new puppy friends, and had no issues whatsoever. I absolutely love the trails you can walk with the dogs. It was great to give them an opportunity to walk around and actually get a little ahead of me and come back and run. Very very good and I have two very tired happy doggies
