Great park. Beautiful views of the river and skyline. Great trails. Train trestle. Plenty of markers and info. Fishing, boating, hiking, biking, walking, jogging, etc. Very family friendly. Something for all ages and fitness levels. Highly recommended.

A really nice park connected to the bike trail.

We went when the cottonwood trees were in bloom, seed floofs drifting through the air like magic. It was unreal. Mulberries straight up growing out of cracks in the street. Rusted bits of railroad everywhere and signs that remind you not to touch the water due to semi frequent combined sewage events. An eclectic and unique experience worth sharing with your loved ones.

You must stop through here to enjoy nature. The water. Walk the trails. Or have a picnic or birthday party. You can't camp here or have a fire or grill, but you can fish. And it's still worth it. Come solo, with your friend(s) partner/spouse or pet(s) it's fun for everyone. Kids and elderly included. Update: I've had birthday events here, photoshoots , great for dog walks, solo walks, family fun, or just enjoying the water. Great place for everyone. It doesn't have like a public public bathroom, but does have a portapotty. Bike trails along the canal.

First time here. Had an appointment in Richmond and stumbled upon this unique park. We have 3 German Shepherds and it was a great place to let them stretch. Very nice and clean.
