Beautifully maintained park with interesting views, wide open spaces, and it had very few visitors for a Friday afternoon. Parking is not obvious - the entrances are pedestrian only with limited parking near them on the street - there is one lot that appeared to be associated with High Bridge but you will have to look for it (I used street parking).
I tried to get in several different entrances and I could not get in. Not sure if this is CLOSED ? or not. Google did not say it was. I used to live in the area 45 years ago so I was trying to go down and take a look at the park. We spent so much time there as kids so I was very disappointed that I couldn’t access it. As kids we used to be able to walk up the ridge so I drove through Brown’s edition and found the overlook very peaceful and quiet, beautiful views the grass down there in the park looks nice and green. It just boggles me that I couldn’t get in and I did try several different entrances Looking on the map trying to find any way inside. The only one I didn’t do was the one underneath the freeways as I ran out of time
Very nice Park in central Spokane, with a disc golf course and Latah creek running through it. On the south end there are very picturesque bridges for the highway and the train.
Clean and tidy. There was a Christian group in the process of picking up the trash all around. There's a great Frisbee golf course and dogs running around. Great place to bring the kids, too. I went for the drone footage. Here's some screenshots of my drone footage, most pics are facing downtown.
Great park that feels like you’re out in nowhere but in reality you’re just down the street from downtown.
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
