What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Wonderful experience for our dog! Reserved an hour here that he was able to roam, play, jump and tug on a tether rope (this was a favorite)! Highly recommended over a dog park experience for our dog selective pup.

Read more about Fireman’s ParkMy first visit to Manito Park was in the Fall of 2004 when my husband and I were newlyweds. After many moves to different states and several years later, life brought us back to where our lives began together in Spokane. We love visiting the many gardens as a family with our sons. My husband and I visited the Rose Garden together a couple years ago in October. The rose blooms were plentiful and spectacular in the middle of October! It was such a peaceful experience. We visited Duncan Gardens on my Birthday in July this year and just recently this past weekend we visited the Japanese Gardens. I find so much joy simply being in nature and there is so much beauty to appreciate in Manito Park. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. I always enjoy seeing people enjoying the park and gardens as well. It’s a great place to be and visit anytime of year! Walking down Manito Boulevard and around the park on the pathways during the Fall with the golden leaves everywhere is amazing! I love it so much and the best part is it’s always free to visit!! Manito Park has always been a beautiful blessing full of joyful memories for my family.
Read more about Manito ParkThis state park is a great getaway from the daily hustle bustle, traffic, and noise. The views are absolutely stunning, the campground is decent, and the hike to the bridge and beyond is fun and moderate. The bridge is very beautiful and the view of Spokane river flowing underneath is just gorgeous. There is a mini hike to get under the bridge, where you can relax on the river rocks and enjoy another gorgeous view of the river upclose, and the landscape around it. The hike beyond the bridge is pretty flat, easy, and family friendly. Although I didnt see a lot of picturesque spots in the trail, its still worth the walk. The campground was ok ok, primarily as it lacked privacy - too many campsites close to each other, with little or no trees in between for privacy. Overall, its definitely worth visiting.
