I finally moved. I am much happier now The apartment I lived in was big and I was ok with design except that some of the people on the balconies could see into my bedroom window. I had to have the curtain closed all the time, which made my bedroom very dark. I like to have fresh air. We had a manager.. but when I left, I got almost nothing from my security deposit. There are still a few tenants that throw trash everywhere, let their dogs pee/ crap everywhere, and constantly smoke weed in the hallways. When I moved in this kind of stuff was not tolerated. It makes it hard for the nice tenants who don't do those things and who actually show respect for other people and their pets. I feel so bad for some of my friends who are there because they have to put up with a lot. Pool has not been open for 4 years. The photo you see is old. The elevators broke down a lot. The laundry room has a few washers and dryers that do not work and have not worked for several months now. The roof also leaks and the fifth floor is soaking wet and so is the fourth floor whenever it rains. I told mgt that my a/c did not work last July. They never fixed it. Other tenants ( at least 5 ) have told me the same thing about non working a/c in their units. My one friend had a serious gas leak in hers. I would never move here again, unless some very serious updating was done. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be happening. It is a sad place.
I’ve been a resident for sadly going on 2 years. There is no security what so ever. No fobs for the main lobby doors. No cameras in the lobby or parking lot. We recently had an issue with thieves searching cars and we still don’t have cameras or locked doors. There wasn’t even a public announcement about it. I learned about it from the police dept. There are constant signs in the lobby from residents claiming package have been stolen from the mail room. The parking garage is always open; yet they charge for you to park in there. The only elevator that works smells like you’ll catch something. The second elevator has never worked and will most likely never work. The stairwells are nightmare fuel. The pool is a myth. The tennis court is abandoned. And the fire alarm gets pulled at least twice a month for no reason. You can see the potential in the building. The residents are kind and do not deserve the way they’re being treated. It’s truly sad how little is being put into actually updating this building. Edit: Nothing has changed since this post. In fact; it’s gotten substantially worse. The water is constantly being shut off for some reason. And the fire alarm gets pulled at least twice a week and doesn’t get shut off for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes longer because the fire department usually doesn’t get called.
Smells terrible, looks unkempt. Door ripped off back entrance (from parking lot) along with key fobs not working on the front entrance. Tiles removed from ceiling, stains all over carpet. In the two years I lived there only one elevator was running and would break down all the time. My bed room was constantly flooded when it rained due to a crack in the side of the building, which then caused mold making me sick for months. Ignored my emails regarding this until I physically went down to the office. I even had a Petrie dish proving there was mold. This was along with other maintenance issues they refused to fix- took almost two years to fix a toilet because it was on “back order. “ Had pipe leaks in the walls where they left open holes resulting in a bat flying in. Leak in ceiling which caused pealing paint they never fixed because again- “back order.” Also would shut off water to fix problems with no heads up. Had a problem with bees coming in through the patio door, wouldn’t take care of the problem. Hallways constantly filled with trash and furniture because of disgusting neighbors. Dumpsters outside were beyond overflowing so the first thing you see when you pull in is heaps of trash. Barely ever paid landscaping company so our grass would be a few feet high. They advertise a pool that hasn’t been opened in years. The equipment in the gym room is broken. Washer and dryers are inefficient and they keep the machine to load your card in their locked office because someone once stole it. No one is even in office anymore because everyone quit. Moved out in September and still haven’t received my deposit back, owners will not reply to my emails but they were able to email me to make sure I paid the last of my utilities.
Lived her for years. No maintenance priority, no working elevators, no trash drop off for months (had to walk to a dumpster), trash everywhere. Shady people lurking around everywhere. Horrible place to live especially if you have children.
I have lived here for about 2-3 years now. I was told before signing my first lease that the pool was closed for the season when I asked about it (it was September so understandable) however it has never opened in my time living here, extreme water damage throughout apartments/hallways, fruitfly/drain fly issues to the point I've exhausted every resource to get rid of them, office doesn't want to do anything about them. They currently do not have a manager, can't even load my laundry card because the machine is in the office, my packages always get stolen by other residents when out in mail room and they don't have working cameras to see who stolen them. The workout room is full of broken equipment. Last year they raised my rent and I can't even use the amenities I pay for.
