Nice park and playground in a quiet neighborhood. Good shade over the playground area.

The best kept pickleball secret in San Diego County. New surfaces, nets, fencing. 4 courts are laid out end to end with fences in-between. Lots of room. No running into fences. No ball-on here! There is a group on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30-11:30. Bathrooms adjacent to the courts. Avoid the area during frantic school-parent drop-off hours 8am and 2:30.

Happened on this beautiful park quite by chance on one of the first all day sunny days in months. It has a nice, if small, parking lot with a bit of an up hill walk to a cute children's play area. There were a number of blue courts on the right as we walked by, all in good to great condition. We continued walking and saw only one woman and her dog reading on a blanket. Not many people were around since we visited on a Thursday around lunchtime. We continued to walk through what looked like an old black paved parking lot and after crossing a man made pallet bridge over a small run off, came into a grove of trees. It looked like you could continue walking for a bit up a small hill and down again. We turned around since we were starving for lunch. Made a mental note to bring a picnic next time. Checked out restrooms and there was toilet paper, yay, but no door on toilet, nay. There is pretty landscaping on the adjoining residential homes.

Small park with walking trails, ducks and other aquatic birds. Things for kids to climb and picnic tables. The lower area has lots of stairs, so keep that in mind. It is not handicap accessible.
