What dog owners are saying

Nice park and playground in a quiet neighborhood. Good shade over the playground area.
Read more about Highwood ParkMy dog LOVES coming here, this is a great park to take and walk the dogs. Lots of other dogs here and plenty of space around a really nice nature path.
Read more about Harry Griffen ParkNot much parking but very modern, peaceful urban park. Tucked behind Sharp Grossmont Hospital and a memory care residential building, it could easily be missed. With the recent storms, the plants are a bit battered but will hopefully come back full force once we get back into our usual hot climate. Lots of shady places here though and places to sit with some interactive areas for mostly kids but adults will enjoy looking at least once. Also, popular rock hiding spot so bring some of your own or enjoy the hunt. I usually like to relocate one to a different park to give it some mileage. I’ll add photos in just a bit; technical issues but didn’t want to wait to do a write up. Edit: Photos added which gave me a couple more what I would like to say are insights but opinions; park needs to be on a more regular maintenance schedule. It doesn’t need much but everything just looked like it had a coat of dirt over it. Yes, it’s a natural park, etc. but that doesn’t mean a good power wash and trim wouldn’t help.
Read more about Briercrest ParkThis is a great park for littles. Relatively quiet, has a basic bathroom, picnic tables and low walls. Shady trees and lots of natural area for the kids to explore if they’re not interested in the play equipment. My 2yo and 5yo loved collecting pine cones and sticks and rock hopping in the dry creek. Relatively small as parks go, but basically perfect.
