This is a great park for littles. Relatively quiet, has a basic bathroom, picnic tables and low walls. Shady trees and lots of natural area for the kids to explore if they’re not interested in the play equipment. My 2yo and 5yo loved collecting pine cones and sticks and rock hopping in the dry creek. Relatively small as parks go, but basically perfect.

Perfect for the little ones and dogs. There is a padded play area perfect for the under 3. There's no sand or bark to tempt oral exploration. The play structure is small and safe and next to the benches. There's also a large grassy area and walking path for dogs and older kids/adults. Parking lot is small so finding a spot maybe difficult.

Playground: Relatively new, one small main structure. The flooring is rubber. There was full shade from the mature trees at 9am on two benches, with lots of other seating around the playground. My toddler had a lot of fun. Bathrooms: Men’s and women’s, one open stall which was clean and well lit. Parking: Right next to the park in a free parking lot. Location: Neighborhood park. Safety: No unhoused, no trash on the playground. Lots of mosquitoes- there must be some standing water nearby because I had multiple mosquito bites despite it being mid morning.

This is such a quiet, beautiful park. Very peaceful. The park is very clean. It is located in La Mesa/ Grossmont area, I believe. There's a playground with clean bathrooms. No soap dispenser in the men's bathroom, though, which is weird because why even have a sink if you can't actually wash your hands. But not a deal breaker at all for this park. There's food places nearby. Very good place for a nice picnic with the family. Nice flower section. Lots, and I mean lots of shade at this park. It's not a massive park by any means. But it is a nice beautiful park with lots of nice lush green grass. I highly recommend you take the family there. For more on the places I go, be sure to follow my Instagram @Manbehindalens and follow my Google Maps as I'll be posting many more places. So feel free to ask any questions.

A little gem of a park. A fun hill, some green open space and trees, and a playground for the littles. Generally clean and well-maintained, but sometimes rude people don’t clean up after their birthday parties, etc.
