Hilltop Park in Signal Hill is a hidden gem in the Long Beach area. The park hides native heritage, enjoying the view to Catalina Island from the park and imagining the Tongva people communicating across the water with the island people is mind-blowing. It's a small park and still is well equipped with restrooms, grills, parking, and drinking water fountain. On a clear day you can easily see Downtown Los Angeles.

Perfect way to start and end your day. If you don't know what to do, start above on the Hill and then go down below. Take your time, you might meet new people along the damn way. Clean up after yourself and change your batteries on your smoke detectors and buckle up. #safesexisnosex #washyourballs #washyourhands

Great spot to hang out and take in the views. If you take binoculars you can take in various sites around LA, especially on a clear day such as the Hollywood sign! Picnic tables are available. On buys days there is usually a food truck parked there.

A very beautiful park with beautiful views of Southern California beaches like Seal Beach, Long Beach, and Redondo Beach on a clear day. On a clear day, it offers a 270-degree view of Long Beach, West LA, Downtown LA, and the Angeles Crest Mountains. I don't remember if there was a restroom, but it wasn't very crowded when I went. There's no admission fee. Don't forget Signal Hill Trails.
