The James S. Boan Woods park is part of the Bolingbrook Park Districts series of city parks throughout Bolingbrook. This park has a large shelter with picnic tables under it. There are permanent toilets here. The parking lot seems way too big for the park, but that just makes it easy to park there. The Bolingbrook Park District Community Garden is at this same location. The Hidden Oaks Conservation Area is nearby.

This Park is nicely groomed for family and group events. Clean restrooms. Trails that connect to a nearby fishing Park and Whalon Lake. Some wildlife also is a resident of the area.

Very relaxing place to eat your lunch outdoors. They have several pavilions and nature center and lakes to sit by or fish at!

I rented it for a Trunk Party and was not disappointed. The parks bathrooms and pavillion was clean and stocked.
