This park has a large shelter with picnic tables under it. There are permanent toilets here. The parking lot seems way too big for the park, but that just makes it easy to park there. The Bolingbrook Park District Community Garden is at this same location. The Hidden Oaks Conservation Area is nearby.

There's a couple small trails that lead through the woods in the preserve itself. One trail section was closed, and I believe access and parking at the preserve is limited in the winter. I was able to access the preserve via the paved trail from Whalon Lake.
