I've been bringing my dogs here for around 6 months, always in the mornings so I haven't run into many other dogs but so far so good. Great area for the dogs to run and as clean as a public dog park can be. I would recommend if not for the fact that I found 4 used condoms in the parking lot off of 56th street this morning. Hopefully they can do something to keep people from ruining this space for everyone. Thank you for the reply, we'll keep at it and make this a great place for the community.

Nice place, clean, not much shade, saw some wild turkeys, big open fields. Plenty of parking. Walkways and paths. Dog friendly, just make yo clean up after them. Bathrooms, dog run area.

Used Google Maps to find..thought I was in wrong area. No sign pointing to WHERE it actually is once you enter parking lot. The baseball fields, pinecone trees and circle track are beautiful.. The dog areas "oan" are very unkept and very poopy..no upkeep to dog play areas..the grass is dried greenish brown and has a lot of grayish dirt? The dogs seem to like walking the outdoor circle better.. The Bathroom building perimeters..have strong horrible urine odor.. On a positive note..A+ for doggy drinking fountain.. I probably would not go to the park alone or bring kids to the park without a dog because of safety red flags..transients.
