Did not expect much when I came but was surprised to see how well maintained the trail is. No trash on the ground and I can see the rover all along with beautiful cattail on the other bank! Some wild roses and flax flowers can be seen. The area seems safe. I saw one encampment along the way but it was hidden.

Beautiful, easy to access nature area. There is a small amphitheater type area that would be good for an acoustic show. Great place to birdwatch. We got here off of the Jordan River Parkway but there is a parking area and it is easily accessible from the street.

It is a very peaceful place, there are no bathrooms available, further down the trail there are bathrooms,

I met Kathi yesterday, who teaches children from the Murray School district in this nature center classroom. The kids spend a half day learning about wetlands and the other half exploring the river and pond area. Such a cool learning resource for kids!

Close by for a real nature walk. Tall cattails, different birds, dirt trails for walking. No motorized vehicles allowed. Dogs are allowed on a leash. The creek/river runs through this. Could fish here. Runs into the trail that runs north of you kept walking.
