The park is great. It has separated large areas for bigger dogs, an area just for ankle bitters, and an obstacle course. Like most of the dog parks in the Phoenix Metro area, it lacks adequate shade. Bring sunscreen.

The dog park itself is waaaaay less exciting than the park surrounding it. But I love coming here with my dog and walking right past it to go on an epic walk! The parking lot isnt really near the dog park, but there is one and the walking trail near there is beautiful! There is also a bathroom up a hill about halfway through the walking trail. The dog park itself looks like it needs more shade.

Interesting place, sometimes people bring their non social reactive dogs here, which I find really dumb like you know your dog. Generally, I dont support taking your dogs to dog parks anyway because it goes against general training and can be dangerous for your pup. My friends dog recently got bit up pretty good here by a reactive dog. Otherwise its a cool place, and they have separate areas for smaller/toy dogs, which are weak, so you dont have to worry about them scrapping, im sure.

Nice dogs, nice people. There are still two uprooted trees from the last storm in the small dog park section that are sticking up by the roots, impacting safety for humans with visual impairments. Please fix this. The big dog park is fine but noise from the street is high.

Watch out there’s a guy that brings his two large dogs I believe he said at least one’s a Malinois mix well anyway the other day this lady’s Great Dane was attacked by it. Both my dogs adore playing with her Dane who is an absolute sweet heart and plays so well with others once she figures out her size 😂 anyway from what I saw the guy threw the dogs toy in our direction and it landed right in front of them when the Dane tried to play with the toy the Mal latched onto the Danes neck and wouldn’t let go the poor Dane was scream crying and trying to run away with its tail tucked felt like it took the man forever to pull his dog off luckily the Dane was okay despite some bite marks and blood. The guy gave a half ass apology sounded like he was trying to blame the lady for having a big dog but also openly said his dog is dog reactive and toy aggressive he didn’t even give his info or ask if her dog was okay. I know he goes pretty often as I’ve seen him so just be careful with him and his dogs.
