A nice park with some problems. Unfortunately some trash is leaving trash in the park. Also, it could use some general improvements. It is part swamp land, use your bug spray. There is plenty of wildlife and well cleared trails. I saw rabbits, snakes, birds, and large spiders.

A really great spot for bird watching right in the city of Montgomery. It's not particularly wild, but the wetlands are very nice, the facility is pretty well kept (sidewalks may be cracked, etc). Well worth a visit.

Nice walking trails. Saw different kinds of birds.

Nice park to have a family function or just enjoy the weather.

I applaud the idea of parkways and hiking trails, but these are kind of underwhelming, particularly the forest trail, like walking down a dirt road basically, and the creek trail somewhat better but still kind of like walking alongside a drainage ditch. But the impoundments/ponds next to the lodge at the north end of the park are pretty interesting, as is a swamp about a 1/5 of a mile south of there along the trail.
