This is a fun little park. There are tons of trucks and sand toys that are just there for any kids to play with, which is so nice because you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. All of our kids just had a blast digging in the sand playing with all the toys. There’s also a great swing set and place it with slides. The field is huge and had a few soccer nets that the kids loved kicking the ball into.
We attended a 4th of July neighborhood event here. It was a nice park with a small playground and sand box. It was a perfect ending spot for the neighborhood parade. It is big enough that they had a face painting booth, balloon shapes booth, food trucks parks around the curbs, a stage for Cold Creek Bluegrass Band to entertain, and covered seats for those who wanted to sit and listen. There was shade from big trees in some spots. There was also a baseball back stop on the grass.
Laird Park is wonderful! Small-ish but good condition playground, lots of shaded street parking. No parking lot. In a nice, quiet SLC neighborhood. No bathrooms, has a drinking fountain (though it's nowhere near the playground for some reason), and several shaded tables, and even a device-charging table where you can connect to WiFi! Has a great, large sandbox with dump trucks and digging sand toys to play with that come with the playground, and it's very well shaded. Large grassy field as well. Comes with 2 soccer goal nets and a small baseball diamond field. Love it here!
This park is great. It's nestled into the neighborhood and has a playground and swings and an area for softball or baseball. It's got a picnic table and a drinking fountain too. There is a large flat grassy area that we've used for badminton in the past.
Fun park with fun playground. There a lot of toys in sand box for kids to play.
