Seeing the Hollywood Sign in person is one of those iconic moments that feels surreal even though you already know exactly what to expect. It’s pretty self explanatory, but standing there and actually seeing it with your own eyes hits differently. Definitely a must-see if you’re in Los Angeles, and one of those classic sights that just makes you smile. The dog park is such a bonus for animal lovers. 😉🐕

Lake Hollywood Park is a beautiful, family-friendly spot in LA with stunning views of the Hollywood Sign. The park is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for picnics, dog walks, or just soaking in the scenery. There are plenty of open grassy areas, benches, and walking paths, which make it ideal for both relaxation and light exercise. The park is especially popular for photos, thanks to its unobstructed views of the Hollywood Sign, and the atmosphere is generally calm and welcoming. Parking is available but can fill up quickly on weekends, so arriving early is recommended. While there aren’t many amenities like food stands or playgrounds, its main draw is the natural beauty and iconic LA scenery. Overall, Lake Hollywood Park is a peaceful urban escape and a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike who want to enjoy a scenic view of the Hollywood Sign.

Had a great view of the sign from here. You can keep driving up the hill from the park and see the sign better; that’s where most people take their pic with the sign in the background. Good view of the city too. If you don’t really care about hiking, but you just want to see the sign, I recommend going here instead of the observatory. Just a heads up- parking is tough and the roads are sharp and tight.

It’s a lovely small park where you can definitely take a photo with the world-famous Hollywood sign in the background. There are lots of tourists there at pretty much any time of the day. It’s quite difficult to find a parking spot. In front of the park, people sell drinks and some snacks. There is also a playground in the park, which is a big plus for families with children. Personally, I really liked this place. You get there by driving along winding roads, sometimes narrow streets with parked cars on both sides, so be careful.
