This is the entrance you want if you don't live in an adjoining neighborhood. About 11 parking spaces. Not a neighborhood entrance. The red trail is the most enjoyable. Bear left at the second fork. That is the most boring part of the trail. The side trails are nice but are really for neighborhood entrances. Road noise is constant but for a suburban neighborhood park it is great. Really well maintained. While there are dogs (neighborhood park) nothing to bad. Some could be trained better. This not a park to go out of your way for but if you are local it really is a great trail park.

This park is a slice of the wild in the heart of an urban area. When this park opened almost twenty years ago it was truly a rare jewel. For the first four or five years it was usually deserted. Primitive, no markers. A couple basic trails over an interesting topography...Now it's been cleaned up. The bikers & dog walkers discovered it a good seven or eight years ago...Parking been paved. Signs, markers, etc ..however it is still a nice place...benches have been installed..it is a bit more civilized now but that's only natural... recommended..

Really good trails, getting a little tough to follow with all the leaves down for new visitors. Lots of benches and tables for stopping, reading, etc.

My kids and I love walking the trails! They are totally shaded and surrounded by wildlife. There is a spot with a really cool creek for them to play in. We have a blast here.

A nice nature-filled park/wooded trail. If you walk the outer-loop, its around a 2.5-3 mile hike. Not too difficult, very manageable, many people brought their families/dogs. At this trailhead there isnt much parking, maybe 6 to 8 spaces? But there are several entrances you can choose from, so if one is full its easy to go to another. Its quite popular so you'll definitely see others on the trail, and it is next to a busy road at some parts. Overall a pleasant experience to get out into the woods while still being close to home.
