It's a good size dog park for a town the size of Deming. However deming has two larger than this one shaded and the ground is covered in grass and the 2nd is similar to this one.The park seems a bit crowded but does have some nice features like the washing station. Great Idea!! Just wish we had a few more like this in town.

Large park, lots of space to run for your dog. Shaded areas, seating, separate area for special needs dogs. Riley rates it a four 1/2, only because he favorite park is Milton WI and Show Low AZ.

On a recent road trip, we stopped at this dog park along the way so my recent rescue Molly could get some exercise & socialization. What a pleasant surprise, The locals are very friendly, this dog park is very clean & the dogs had a blast ! We're from LA and you folks are the best, Thanks for putting up with herding girl !!! Good dogs are trained, North Hills/ Los Angeles, CA. Training, boarding & daycare Helping pets off the streets & out of over crowded shelters since 2003

This is a great dog park in the making. It already is a very good chain-link-fenced place for dogs to run and play off leash. The Las Cruces Dog Park on Hermosa clearly reflects the volunteers who keep improving the amenities. There even is a fenced area attached on one side for smaller and special need dogs. We like watching our dogs race dogs on the other side of the fence, with no risk of fighting. There is fresh water for the dogs, and even a water tub for them to soak. There are exercise tunnels and shade structures. Some trees have been planted, hope they make it! Although there is no grass, and it can be pretty hot, the grounds are mostly clean.(We pick up far more poop at Pioneer Park when we walk dogs there on leash.) My concern with off-leash parks is that occasionally a dog fight breaks out, and it is important to be vigilant. But so far the owners we've seen here been responsible and stepped in to maintain control. BTW, outside the park fencing we've noticed what look like porta potties for humans. Wow!

Solid dog park. Just stopped by on a road trip. It's pretty easy to find, next to a park and police station. Open late as well, but only one light is on, so eat your carrots before you stop on in. :)
