VERY VERY pretty but almost completely taken over, unfortunately, by the homeless. Three stars for the beauty but I would probably not recommend if you are a woman or walking alone. That's just me personally. They do have a TON of parking and pavilions and lots & lots of tables for picnics but just felt very unsafe. The homeless were honestly overtaking the park. They had set up their world within the park. It was like the non-homeless were invading. That said, the park was GORGEOUS. Great walking path and the sights were beautiful. Lots of water with wildlife and the beautiful SLC mountains in the back. HUGE loop with smooth, pavement. I'm glad I went - but would not go back and only visited once in my extended stay in the area.

Absolutely excellent city park! Well maintained with running/walking paths, play areas and seating. Small "amusement park". Pool and pond. Water play area when weather appropriate. Absolutely Fantastic Aviary! And - lots of people walking dogs. Go dogs!

I love this park and grew up near it. Rollerblade or skate the outer loop, paddle boat on the pond, go to the aviary, play sand volleyball, ride the farris wheel, or chill under some giant trees. Sledding and lights in the aviary during the winter! Certain areas are unfortunately less clean especially in the inner sections of the park, but overall awesome. 👏 🌳

Very pretty, lovely people, nice walking paths. Technically there's no off leash area, but the park is so large there's always some empty space to throw a stick or ball around. (There are ducks and squirrels hanging out, so be aware) Lots and lots of parking, public restrooms, lots of available seating, and the vendors are interesting.

Good park to do any type of exercise, there is a court to play volleyball, the park is clean, there are bathrooms, it is really worth going
