This park is a very good place for families and kids. There is a big field where you can play soccer, jog, or walk your dog. The park also has a swimming pool, but only Albany residents can book it. If you are visiting from outside Albany, you must register through an Albany resident’s CivicRec account to use the pool. The park is clean and has a beautiful view. There are benches to sit on, picnic areas, and a bike rack where you can lock your bicycle. It’s a peaceful and safe place for everyone to enjoy. Overall, it’s a great place to visit, especially in the summer. Kids can run and play, and adults can relax. It’s fun for both families and friends. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it’s missing a few small things, such as public grills , but it’s still a very nice park.
Loved this place. Nice clean area and scenic view. Very peaceful. Great place to walk and think. In the fall, even more beautiful. I find it very soothing and relaxing. It has a park as well for the kiddos. Very historic vibe. This is definitely my go to area when I visit up here. Has benches so you can rest and enjoy. I highly recommend this park.
Loved the new remodel of the playground although they should have put picnic tables under the part with the roof, that seems to be there for nothing but looks, because the benches are in direct sunlight and parents get hot quick watching their kids play if it's a hot day. But its wayyy better than before. Can't wait to see what the other part looks like when finished. My kid had a good time all and all.
Nice loop around to the park for exercise and walking ur dog. Beautiful sunrise if you get there at the right time. The only down side is some folks don't pick up after their dog. At least we are in the winter.
Best time to visit is during sunrise and moonrise.. for Best view walk the trail along Martin Luther king Jr blvd
