Had about ½ hr to kill between appointments. Since we had to bring the dogs to one of the appointments, I Googled 'dog parks' and went to this one. It's nice! There were 3 different areas for dogs. When we went, no one was there. The 'big dog' park had a few dogs in it. There's a gate. Walk in, close the gate, and walk into the play yard. There are plenty of activities for the dogs, although mine just wanted to run around. There are benches, but they are outside the fenced area. People, thankfully, pick up their dogs poo, as we didn't come across any. (Bags are provided) Although we didn't visit the entire park, it looked really nice. A play area for kids (with swings & slides). A couple playing tennis. A basketball court. Picnic tables under a pavilion. Sidewalk walking trails. And public bathrooms (although I didn't use it, so I can not comment on that) If I lived in Galveston, I could see us visiting there often.

It is nice an large and secure with great agility items, but all three of my dogs I had to dig stickers out of their paws

This is not a dog park keep your dogs off it haha! There is a dog park next door what does Court as well and the place for young soccer players to practice! Very nice park for lots of things to do even puppies do.

It has cool ramps and jumps for dogs that like to do tricks (as well as two separate gated areas), but the yard wasn't maintained and there were stickers throughout the park that posed a danger to my dogs paws. Won't come back to this one. There were lots of dogs around the park on leashes though and possibly has better maintenance outside the gated areas, but we didn't hang around to explore.

My pups and I absolutely LOVE this place. Friendly people. The park is fairly clean and well kept. Lot of options on where to be, perfect for all types of dogs.
