A great little park especially if you live covered bridges.. great for kids birthday parties, sports, family reunions, dog walking, grilling, or just relaxing by the stream. One of my family’s favorite places.

Beautiful and well maintained county park. Short and paved walking trail. Restrooms available. One pavilion. Beaches are available on trail. Play ground equipment available. The park is on a road with a covered bridges. One Civil War Trails marker. Highly recommended.

Beautiful park with great climbing options, a bathroom, a creek to play in and the fun nature scavenger hunt that my toddlers love. This park is especially lovely in the fall and is a great place to take family photos or have a picnic.

One of the best Parks I have seen in Maryland The parkwas clean and welcoming as it shoUld be. Even though it is small it still has a sense of Beauty that is often not found in some of the parks. The only bad thing I can say is its a little out of the way. However, this is partof its charm.

This quiet little Frederick County Park is an absolute natural gem tucked away up around Thurmont. It has a small playground with brand new, state of the art playground equipment and the rubbery "mulch" ground, a walking path that loops around, foot bridges over the creek that winds through, a close view of the bridge with a history land marker explaining the history, places where you can easily walk down into the shallow creek, picnic tables under a pavilion with lights/electricity and a grill for barbecuing, bathrooms ("indoor" port-a-pottys), benches, swings,
