The pups LOVE this place! Well maintained and a fantastic view. A little tricky to find - DO NOT FOLLOW THE GOOGLE MALS ROUTE THER COMES IN FROM THE WEST. You’ll know you are on the wrong road if you hit a dirt road. It ends in private property.
Such a big, nice space! Available water to fill up bowls for dogs. I wasn’t totally sure where I should park, but ended up finding a path through the nearby neighborhood.
My dogs are obsessed with this place, we drive 25 minutes just to go here. We have had many bad experiences at other dog parks with irresponsible owners, and when we found this place we were so happy, we have only had one incident of an unfriendly dog here out of the 50 plus times we have gone. Lots of space for running around and getting exercise. It can get a little crowded during prime time hours (early morning, and evening) but is still our number one place. Always remember to watch out for wild life as it is near hiking trails and woods.
Best dog park we've been to. Great space, great dogs, beautiful view. 1/2 mile loop around. Just don't trust Google when it tells you to go down a weird winding path that ends in someone's driveway. Just park in front of the bohn park construction area and follow the grey gravel path, it's about a 1/4 back.
Favorite dog park in Colorado! Plus I love the town of Lyons. There are fun trails thru town, foothills and up the canyon.
