Read more about East Boulder Off-Leash Dog ParkThe most complete park in Boulder, restroom, drinking water, playground, sports field, etc.there are flat easy trails also well as the more ascend hiking trails. Most important, it is extremely beautiful, you can see the blades side of the flatiron, there is magic wonderland lake, all kinds of waterfowls, and there are plenty of parking spots, almost no traffic to get there, I admire a lot the people lived apun there. As for me, I definitely will come back.
Read more about Foothills Community ParkGreat location for first timers trail runners and those recovering from injuries. I needed to test the healing of my injury to see if I could run yet. I needed a short distance with easy paths in case I needed to turn around and limp back. This provided both. Hard to get lost, well marked trail and so many people there, easy enough to ask if you get turned around. Even better, if one is more healed than expected, there are more moderate and challenging paths shooting off from the main circle. Rockier, up and down hill. Able to push harder if your recovered injury allows. View as always, beautiful. Tiny parking lot but easy street parking near and no bathrooms nor any place to sneak off and hide to go.
