Main City Park - Dog Park

We were driving through town and stopped to let our dog get some energy out. Nice public park with a cute little Japanese garden nearby. We liked that the dog park was wood chips and not muddy dirt.

A Fenced Off-Leash Dog Park within an existing city park. This place was a nice little stop on her journey today. The fenced off leash dog Park area of main city Park is located in the south east section of the main park. There is a single entrance point to the fenced area with a dual gate. It appears there was a small breed section and a large breed section at one point. But the separation gate has been removed. Leaving the possibly previous small breed area of the park with benches for humans sitting. The entire fenced in section is heavily coded in bark chips.

Cool little dog park. Will likely be a bit small if you have larger dogs 60lbs+ but still in great location to walk the larger dogs around a nice park. The other dogs I've seen so far have been really friendly as well as a wistful lady that seems to just bring snacks and cold water at certain hours of the day just out of kindness which is always a pleasure 🙏🏽

This was my first experience with a dog park. The dogs were wonderful, of course, and the owners were all quite friendly. People kept close eyes on their dogs 🐕. It would be nice if it had more lighting at night, but other than that, I would highly recommend this park.

This place is great, everyone is friendly, all the dogs get along. I started going because my dog needs more confidence and is skittish around everyone and he's come out of his shell very quickly here.
