Hidden park! I’ve driven past this place a hundred times I’m sure and never realized there was a playground back here. It’s set really far back from the road. My kids had a blast here. The jungle gyms are well appointed and in good condition. My kids thought the drive thru speaker and window were so fun and played there for a long while. One star off bc it’s wood chip ground cover (I hate the stuff) and there’s virtually no shade. I stood under the canopy of the larger jungle gym to get out of the sun while my kids played, but wish the people building parks in TX which is known for its crazy sweltering sun would build awnings over the benches alongside a playground!!

Wow! Very nice and clean park! A beautiful pond with walkways to take a lovely walk or run. A fairly good size kids play area along next to a covered table area. Love that they provide benches all around and even big stones to sit by the pond! There's a massive stone oval table to sit at. You can bring your leashed dogs but absolutely no alcohol beverages which makes it a perfect family area to go to!! We took our son to fly his kite and was great area to do that! This will definitely be our spot to go have some outdoor fun!!

This is a special place. It is spacious and you feel the space that’s tucked within a big city - and you can feel and see the beauty all around. The play structure isn’t as covered and shaded so it can be properly enjoyed throughout the day, but was still enjoyable. I really appreciated the marking on the path to let you know the distances you walked/ran/biked. It really was be

Nice park, hidden gem! Has ample paved walking as well as open fields. A large pond, plenty of very old pecan trees. It was peaceful with not many people around. I saw signs of a beaver and a collection of ducks in the water.

The Mallard Cove Park has two different sets of playground equipment, porta potties for public use, a huge field near the playground equipment and also another one near the pond. The kids love walking on the pathways near the pond. The park wasn't crowded at all, with the few people walking the paths or fishing in the pond. There was even a "Give a Book, Take a Book" (Little Free Library).
