The best public park I have been to !!!!! This entire park is divided based on the age group. They have a musical game system which is really cool. The restroom was nice and clean. There is also a dog park. The only con is that there is very less shade as no trees around the playground. So it gets pretty hot even around 5pm in September month. But evening is nice and cool.

McCandless Park is one of our favorites spot in Milpitas for playground fun, my children loves coming here consistently and begs to stay longer every time! It's conveniently located in a quiet, nice residential neighborhood off McCandless Drive, with easy street parking and close to schools and homes, making it perfect for quick visits or playdates without dealing with crowded bigger parks. The playground is amazing with so much variety: huge net climbers, embankment slides, interactive spinners, musical instruments, and inclusive features for all ages and abilities. There's something for toddlers, big kids, and even sensory play—it's nature-themed and super engaging, way more creative than standard swings and slides. The surrounding neighborhood feels safe and family-oriented, with green spaces and a welcoming community atmosphere. It's always clean and well-maintained too. 5 stars—highly recommend for families in the North San Jose/Milpitas area!

There are four different play structure areas for kids to explore and play on.There is also a small dog park. There is a huge grassy field and many picnic tables. The parking lot isn't huge, but I didn't have any issues finding a spot when I went at 9:15am on a Sunday morning. Perfect place to bring your kids and pets. The only downside is there is not a lot of shade. We loved this park and will be coming back.

Parking is a bit far. But to have three playgrounds is a treat! I love the old trend that's now the new trend of gated parks, with toddlers that dash away or the fear of them getting picked up and taken, the closed gates help tremendously..

Great park. It has interactive games for kids, tot area, basketball hoops, swings and slides.
