Omega Psi Phi Eta Nu Easter Egg hunt was successful with a ton of kids, Easter baskets, plastic eggs and vendors. Pompano Lodge No 409 and Saba Temple Shriners were also present for the celebration.
A very nice experience I had with my 1 year old swimming lessons. Great and caring instructors and lifeguards. I recommend for families with their children just learning to swim.
It would be nice to open the walking park again for the neighborhood to use. Isn't that what this park is about community? Please do not say its because the new equipment. Some are already rusted and rotted and broken. Why do we always do this in the black community. We build it, renovate it and lock it up. We had fitness groups coming here and had to stop ever since the park renovation. At least open the park during community center hours.
