What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
We visited the Pompano Beach Fisher Family Pier while in Pompano Beach and it ended up being one of our favorite stops. Parking can be a little challenging on weekends. We did two loops before someone pulled out of a street parking spot, so we definitely got lucky. Just plan for a little patience if you’re coming during a busy time. The pier itself was clean, beautiful, and had amazing ocean views the whole way out. But the highlight for us was definitely the pelicans. They were sitting right on the pier next to the fishermen, just hanging out. One of them, the most grey one that they called Charlie, was so calm he even let the fishermen pet him. They were such cool animals to watch close up and incredibly photogenic, even though they were probably just waiting for someone to toss them a fish. Honestly, we’d come back again just to see the pelicans. Such a fun and memorable stop if you’re visiting the area. 🌊🐦📸
