Walking through this area, whether it be summer, winter, or fall, it's always beautiful. I end up walking this area several times a week, and the paths are always nicely mowed and easy to navigate. There are a few shaded spots with picnic benches, too. If you go across the bridge, going toward McLaren, there's a kayak launch as well.
A great place to play disc golf, run, walk, fish, or watch butterflies, birds and other wildlife. We hear a paddlers' landing is scheduled for next year.
Lets be honest people the only thing worth going for here is the disk golf! But be on your guard, and NEVER be alone or here after night fall.
