It's a very clean and modern park. But, honestly kinda boring. Took my 5 year old to it for the first time, and even she wasn't that impressed. I feel like this park is more for those who like to bring activities to do at a park and not use the actual playground: soccer, football, scooters, or bikes. There's a decently sized field, and a small trail you can walk too. The bathroom is a covered porta potty. There are 2 swings and 1 baby swing. Picnic tables with a canopy.

Nice park with wide open space but also a playground with padded ground which is nice for kids. Parking is a bit weird but the overall location and vibe of the park is great.

Clean, beautiful, family-friendly park. There is a volleyball pit, playground, covered picnic tables, and a walking loop. However, there are no public restrooms, so plan accordingly. (There is a Loaf n Jug right down the road if needed.) Mountain Shadows is one of the few parks in town that hasn't been overrun by the homeless. (I tip my hat to you, Democratic city leaders, who managed to allow our parks and playground to be trashed within no time.) We no longer take our kids to America the Beautiful or Acadia Park downtown. But that's only because we don't love it when children play with needles or human feces. Thankfully, there are still some hidden gems where kids are safe and can just play. Mountain Shadows is one of these treasures. Let's keep it this way and report shady activity.

Rubber ground, todler swing, and 2-5 yr old playground in addition to a 5-12 yr old play ground. Only 1 pavilion, but almost never busy. Great park!
