Murray Parks & Recreation Office

I just want to say how disappointed the entire kickball league was Thursday night. The parks and recreation director decided to postpone the end of season tournament because of rain without consulting people at the field regarding conditions and playability. This is after games had already been played. It rained for less than 30 minutes. Once the rain passed it was a beautiful evening and the field was in ideal shape for kickball. The lack of communication turned what was supposed to be a fun and competitive night into a complete waste of everyone’s time.

You need to change your office hours on Google. Because Google shows them until 5 p.m., but they're actually until 4 p.m.

The teams here suck. I understand it is rec.. but teach the kids.. your youth staff doesnt even know the rules.....we gave 2 sports a try here and we wont ever be back.. jr jazz is happening now. Your youth staff doesnt even know what is going on... get an adult to supervisor and teach them

The person who left the bad review (JD Peacock) needs to take into consideration safety. The picture he included shows wet asphalt which clearly would indicate that the grass is wet and the kickball field is muddy. Wet grass and mud is slippery. Slippery = inhuries. I appreciate that about Murray Recreation, they are thoughtful with their approach and concerned about the safety of all participants in their programs.

I've contacted them several times to rent pavilions. They are always friendly and helpful. I recommend Murray parks to people whenever I know they're looking for something like that.
