Very nice use of the wetlands, and this is a lovely trail/walking park. UPDATE: to all the entitled who take their dogs here and you either do not have them properly leashed and/or don't clean uo their feces, please find somewhere else to be inconsiderate and disrespectful to others.

Another unassuming park that is an incredible spot to find nature and one of the best places to bird in the county! Tucked between neighborhoods and shopping centers, this beautiful park (managed by the LCSWMA) has 3.5 miles of trails within 70 acres of preserve. The trail system winds through fields, marshlands, wooded areas, and runs adjacent to the Little Conestoga Creek. Noel Dorwart is a beautiful and easy walk with mostly level gravel paths. Plenty of parking as well!

I'd give six stars if I could. This place is my solace ever since I moved to the area. I run here most days, taking in the nature and wildlife. If you go at the right times, you can see deer, tortoises, frogs, birds, squirrels, and snakes (watch out!). If you go to Harrisburg Pike and back, the partially-paved trail runs about 3 miles. You can also cross over to Longs Park to cover more distance.

The new playground is wonderful! Mostly wood with a zip line (bigger than many around), swings, climbing web. The trails are well maintained. We love this spot!

Beautiful little park in the middle of an urban area! The area the park is in now used to be a landfill, but looking at it now you could never tell! There is a cool little bridge going over a stream, as well as some boardwalk over a wet section. Although the park is small, they have a variety of well kept gravel trails to walk on. If you are in the area and want to do a short walk in a unique little park, Noel Dorwart Park is an awesome choice!
