5 stars +!!! I've been to dog parks all over the USA & this is one of the nicest. It's huge, clean & the people are friendly. All the dogs are adorable, of course! For a low yearly price I appreciate that the dogs all have their shots & there is a process to address any issues. LOVE DPMJ!
Read more about Dog Park Mount Joy - membership onlyThe openness is breathtaking! I'm from NYC, and there were times I felt just like this, only when I'm sightseeing at the piers or similar places as the pier. We have an extremely high number of skyscrapers and buildings, so the experiences are very different. This is a blessing, thank God for the feeling to be able to enjoy it. 🙏🏻✝️♥️
Read more about Lancaster County Central ParkThis is a large city park with a paved path running the length of it. The dog park is popular, there's a side of small dogs and large dogs. It has great hills for sledding in the winter and a shallow wading pool that runs in the summer. There is one pavilion near the playground. It has one of the longer slides my kids have enjoyed. On the other side of the playground are basketball and tennis courts. There is free street parking around the perimeter. We also enjoy the big open field there, it's great for flying kites. One of my children's favourite things there are two large black stones that they slide down. These can be found in the West side of the park, along Race Avenue. There are also some monuments, a rose garden, and a composting receptacle. The restrooms aren't always unlocked.
