Very nice! I enjoyed the boardwalk portion. There is covered seating and a decent playground for smaller children. Didn't walk the whole trails but they seemed well-maintained. Felt like a safe area as well.
I wouldn't go here, the people from the houses near by act like they are the police and proceed to creep me out into leaving. Sense one of them sped through the parking lot to the point I thought he might hit my car and eyed me in a disturbing way I have not returned.
We had gotten into grand rapids a bit to early for our flight from lansing. We needed to kill some time. We went here to do so and I am so pleased we did. One more place to see the beautiful landscape michigan has to offer before heading back to Florida.
Very nice walking trails. Lots of nature. Family friendly.
I love going to this park. It has some newer and old school playground equipment to keep my grandson happy. It has a baseball field, soccer field, and basketball court. However, the best thing about this park is the nature trails. There are paved and unpaved trails for you to explore. I enjoy riding my bike on the trails. One loop is fairly easy as far as slope and curves are concerned. There is another loop that has more challenging hills and curves. The trails have a good balance of open areas, and tree cover. There is even a spur that ends up at a vista overlooking a lake. These trails are great jogging, biking, and walking the dog. The trails are also great for people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The trails are flat and level, so there is no fear of tipping over. Northeast Park is a wonderful place to play and explore. ♿ Accessibility Features: Ramp access = Yes Wheelchair-accessible Entrance = Yes Wheelchair-accessible Parking = Yes
