Large park with walking path that goes always around a small lake that has lots ducks, who like to be feed. Playgrounds, a pavilion l, and skate park add lots of activities and enjoy from a visit to this beautiful place.

If it had a public restroom it would get 5 stars. This is the first place I found ducks in a while. There's a nice children's playset on both sides of the pond and the paved paths are clear of trash. There is a skatepark, but an absence of barbecue grills drove someone to use a picnic table instead. On one side of the park there's a nice pavilion with a large outdoor stone fireplace, suitable for fall events. At least one fellow thought it was nice enough to fish, and there are multiple access points to the water's edge. I wish there was a little bit more shade on the trails.

We have been coming to this park for a very long time sice our kids were small. It's being upgraded in some areas over all a good place to come and take a walk. Also they hold yoga classes by the pavillion.

Wow. This is only a shell of the Oakland Park I remember. This park is only partially functional, looks abandoned in most areas and is unkempt. The walking trail's connecting bridge has been broken down for years now which interrupts the full length of the walking path and the Lake is always FULL of algae. Do interns care for this lake? The city of Fort Worth parks and recreation has definitely DROPPED the ball on this one. Hire people that actually care about the parks and possess the knowledge to correctly take care of them.
