Great views! I’ve been going here for many years and usually have great dogs and people but like most nature walks it’s become too crowded. PLEASE if you go don’t run or/and talk on your phone, the whole time, ignoring your dog and his leavings on the trails. Please pick up the poop.AND Don’t leave it on the trail in a bag, hoping that your mother will come pick it up for you. Really the poop problem is becoming quite severe. I offered to give this guy some bags thinking he didn’t have any to pick up his dog poop and what he said was who made you the poop police. Take care of this area! We are super lucky to have such a wonderful place for our dogs and us - It’s a jewel. Another young lady said oh I don’t have to pick it up if it’s not in the trail. OMG!

Stunningly beautiful sunset! Peaceful. No one around. Sounds of nature. Easy access to the scenic view. Would enjoy seeing it often!

Beautiful trails in the middle of Colorado Springs! The wide, pretty flat trail labeled Mesa trail is the one where you can have unleashed dogs. The other trails they have to be leashed. Not everyone follows the rules as we have had dogs run up to us on the leashed trails (there is sufficient signage). So just a heads up. But there are stunning and interesting rock formations and views of the city and front range. Worth a visit!

Great area to have your dog along for a short off leash hike. It's a beautiful area and over all I've had great experiences with the people there. I'd definitely make sure your dogs do recall as there are no fences.
