Point to point trail that's part of a bigger trail system. I bike ride so during the winter, I use fat tire bikes with 4.5 inch and 3.8 studded tires running low pressures. The trail path is frozen over so studded tires is a must on this trail. I would not walk this trail during low temps due to ice build up on pathway that makes it very slippery.
Honestly loved everything about this trail, it runs just over a mile long. After about a quarter of the way and there’s a bench you can rest on if you are just going for a quick walk. There's plenty of room for walkers or bikers, and it's surprising just how much of a straight shot through the area this is. If you are curious about how far you’ve gone they even have quarter-mile marks as you make your way along. No litter, nothing obstructing the path anywhere. Just trees ambiance just about the entire way. The only negative thing I can say is I wish it were longer because I didn’t want it to end.
Lots of shade A little over a mile There is a bench to stop and rest if needed
Beautiful little paved trail, well maintained. The parking lot is small but there is one on either end of the trail. One direction is a bit over 1 mile. There are distance markers on the trail if you want to be accurate about how far you go. Walkers, runners, dogs on leashes, and cyclists use the trail but enough room for all.
Simple trail. You just ride a bike, walk, run, jog in a straight path. Barely any uphill or downhill. It’s fun seeing squirrels and birds as you go along the trail.
